How Do You Cook No Meat Mince?

You can use No Meat Mince just like you do with standard beef mince - pasta dishes, stir fries, chillis, spaghetti bolognese, burger patties, etc. Simply pan fry No Meat Mince in a medium heat pan with a little vegetable oil. It takes about 3-5 minutes to brown off - a little longer than beef mince because we use beetroot to create the pink colour. Then add all your ingredients to the mince.

What Are the ingredients in no meat mince?

No Meat Mince is 100% Plant Based and 100% made in New Zealand. The protein and texture is crafted using soy protein, wheat, soy flour, and guar gum. We crafted the savoury flavours using mushrooms, tomatoes, almonds, and barley (malt extract). Any good mince also needs some fat to give it flavour - so we added coconut oil. And finally, beetroot is used to give No Meat Mince the pink colour.

Can no meat mince be frozen?

Yes! Just like any mince you can store No Meat Mince in the freezer. Thaw it out in the fridge before you cook it.

How long does no meat mince last in the fridge?

Each pack has a use by date on the back. The shelf life is 35 days from the date of manufacture - which is a lot longer than other mince simply because all our ingredients are 100% plant based.
