Cooking with the No Meat Mince

Simply cook the same way you cook any other mince – brown in a pan for 3-5 minutes and then add other ingredients. You’ll notice that No Meat Mince doesn’t brown off immediately like other mince. This is because we use beetroot to create the pink colour so it takes a few more minutes to brown off.

Add your favourite ingredients to create flavour combinations just as you would with other mince. We suggestions items like:

• Onions

• Garlic

• Tomato

• Chilli

• Cumin

• Kidney beans

• Carrots

• Stir Fry vegetables

Satay Lettuce Cups

• 350g No Meat Mince

• 2 tsp olive oil

• 200ml of your favourite Satay Sauce

• 1 medium carrot, grated

• 4 spring onions, sliced

• 4-5 iceberg lettuce leaves

• Steamed jasmine rice

In a pan, fry the No Meat Mince in the olive oil on medium heat until brown (4-5 minutes)
Add Satay sauce and stir fry for 2 minutes
Add carrot and onion, stir fry for 1-2 minutes until carrot is softened
Spoon mix into lettuce leaves and serve with rice
